Our sisters are paralegals, principals, professors, pharmacists, spiritual directors, artists, social workers, missionaries and more, each using her God-given talents, skills and desires for the good of the world.
We Adorers of the Blood of Christ hear God’s Spirit calling us to continued life as compassionate and reconciling forces in the modern world. We are alive and strong and are needed more than ever to help bring about Christ’s promise of justice, love and peace.
We are here to support you as you discern your vocation, wherever it leads. If you feel a call to explore religious life with the Adorers, we would love to talk to you and answer your questions.
Adorers of the Blood of Christ, also known as ASC sisters, believe in the reconciling love of Jesus Christ. As his blood is for us an image of God’s commitment to the redemption of humankind, so the ASC congregation itself must become an image of that divine charity for the world.
Every ASC is an “adorer-apostle,” focusing on the “dear neighbor,” as our founder, St. Maria De Mattias, would say, and placing ourselves as a presence of compassion wherever the need is great.
We strive to bridge the gap between contemplating the mysteries of faith and dedicating ourselves to action in the modern world.
We pray and work to transform the world into what our founder called “that beautiful order of things which the great Son of God came to establish in His blood.”
